Fit at a Glance

  • Fit: Most stretch styles run true to size. Vervet uses waist sizing (24, 25, 26…), and the chart below shows how that lines up with your usual size.
  • Rise: Mostly high and super high rise, with some mid-rise styles. Rise varies by style and grows slightly as sizes go up.
  • Inseam: Shorter for crop, ankle and cuffed styles, longer for full-length flares and wide legs. Check each listing for the exact inseam.
  • Fabric: Mostly soft comfort-stretch denim (cotton blends with about 2% spandex). Rigid and vintage-inspired styles have little or no stretch; see Fit Tips.

Vervet plus sizes come in 14W–24W, and some styles are labeled 1X–3X instead. 1X = 16W, 2X = 18W and 3X = 20W: same fit, different label.

How to Measure

  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually just above your belly button. Keep the tape snug but not tight.
  • Hip: Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
  • Inseam: Measure a pair of jeans you love from the crotch seam down the inside of the leg to the hem.

Length Guide by Height

Your Height Crop / Ankle (26"–28") Full Length (31"–33")
Under 5'3" Hits at or just past the ankle Long. Wear with heels or have them hemmed
5'3"–5'6" Classic ankle crop Floor-grazing with a small heel or platform
5'7" and up Cropped, above the ankle Full length with flats or sneakers

Fit Tips

  • Stretch styles: Stick with your usual size.
  • Rigid or vintage-inspired styles: Size up one for a more comfortable waist. These soften with wear but won't stretch like comfort-stretch denim.
  • Curvy through the hip? Vervet has a contemporary cut, so if your hips measure larger than the chart for your waist size, size up.
  • Between sizes? Go by your waist for high-rise styles, and by your hip for straight and skinny legs.
  • Read each listing's fit notes. Fabric blend, rise and inseam are listed per style, and some styles run differently.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Please note, if an item is returned via mail and found to NOT be as outlined above (i.e. without tags attached, stained, torn, washed, etc.) the item with only be returned to sender/customer at their shipping expense and will be denied credit or exchange.
